Is this download safe? The zip holds only web pages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), images, text and sample message files. There is no installer, no app, no script to run and no macro. Every page blocks all network access, so nothing you open in it leaves your computer.

Opening it (any computer)

  1. Unzip it. Windows: right-click the zip, choose Extract All…, then Extract. Mac: double-click the zip (Safari may already have done this). Linux/ChromeOS: open it in Files and choose Extract, or run unzip harbor-engine-sandbox.zip.
  2. Open the new harbor-engine-sandbox folder, then sandbox, and double-click index.html. It opens in your usual web browser.
  3. Tip: bookmark the page so you can come back to it. Your work is saved in that browser on that computer.

Because the package contains no programs, Windows SmartScreen and macOS Gatekeeper have nothing to ask you about. If a browser or school/work laptop blocks .zip downloads in general, see what to do.
